The client of HRMatch is a well known international supplier of quality flooring for multiple applications.
For the special products department HRMatch is looking for a

Technical Project Manager

Result Areas
• Managing the technical aspects of special projects creating timely and cost effective project-solutions according customer expectations. Project have high financial risk for the organisation, projects have turnover value of 50.000 Euro till 1.8 million Euro.
• Make project plan with production taking into account the available production capacity and limitations as well customer requirements.
• Calculating of required amount of carpet.
• Timely supply of detailed seaming diagrams, roll layouts and cutting plans per roll to secure correct order intake of special production orders

Core activities
(e.g. production volume, sales volume, purchasing volume, EBIT, authorization level)
• Supports the sales force in the acquisition phase with technical advise and customer presentations.
• Translating design intent from customer / architect into feasible carpet plan, looking at design, production, installation (im)possibilities.
• Optimize lay-outs to balance waste versus aesthetics, giving directions to design concerning repeat sizes and used colors.
• Establish and update project tracking list looking at internal deadlines. First as an advise to sales.
• Make lump sum proposals on request of the sales-force based on required amount of M2
• Initiate activities that support logistics and production to produce orders against minimum costs. I.e. reduce waste, reduce overage, reduce scrap.
• Consult flooring installers.
• (On-site) Trouble shooting during production and installation.

Qualifications
• Education/ Training;
o Engineering degree on secondary + level.
o Must have well developed drafting & mechanical drawing skills using CAD.
o Excellent multi language skills (English; German and preferably French)

• Practical Experience;
o 2-3 yr experience in technical project management
o Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple relationships and projects.
o Demonstrated ability of communication and problem solving skills
o Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management.
o Must be able to do detailed work under pressure accurately and neatly.
