TRADE MARKETING SPECIALIST
Job Purpose:
To develop, implement and execute a trade marketing activity plan in coordination with sales in order to support the organization in achieving the business goals.
Responsible for:
Contribution to achieving the annual business goals for Consumer.
Formulation of an up-to-date trade-marketing plan for Consumer Carpets in line with the company strategy and strategic goals
Execution of the trade-marketing plan within the annual budget and the agreed time planning:
o Define and execute dealership programs:
Dealerservices; e.g. organise sales and installation programs, interior styling programs, dealer/consumer communication activities
Instore communication and presentation
o Sales Promotions; loyalty programs and sales actions.
o (Trade)Exhibitions; coordinate and execute exhibition program.
o Shop presentations
Marketing interface to:
o Sales organisations (NL, Belux, Germany, France)
o Distributors
o Customer Services
Analysis and development of specific segment opportunities targeting incremental profitable sales growth for all residential product categories
Input to marketing research process
Key data/measures for area of responsibility:
(e.g. production volume, sales budget)
Production of the annual trade-marketing plan
Implementation of this plan according time plan and budget
Timely production of various sales activation items
Qualifications:
- Educational/Vocational training:
HBO/Academic working and thinking level
Excellent communication skills
- Practical Experience:
Works autonomously in a customer orientated environment
Brand activation program / promotions
Segmentation experience, business/market planning knowledge and proof thereof.
Experience in Design & Home Interiors industry preferential

- Special Knowledge
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. German is preferential.
Briefing of marketing agencies regarding trade-marketing campaigns or other initiatives
Principal Activities:
Be the internal and external Residential segment expert and support the Consumer Sales Force
Input in the annual budget process by providing creative information regarding trade-marketing initiatives and sales promotions as well as customer relation activities and input regarding market and competitor development.
Participation in the monthly sales meeting by providing a regular overview of current activities and it's results versus planning and business goals/budget
Develop and implement Trade Marketing plan
Organization Exhibitions
Organisational Relationships
Operational contacts with various departments such as Sales, Customer Services, Sample Management, Central Marketing, Finance, Technical support, etc.
