Description:
The principal web developer works on external web projects in support of marketing and sales objectives. He or she will be responsible for day-to-day interactive activities to build and support a growing list of websites. In order to achieve this, the principal web developer should have a strong technical background in content management and web development. Tasks and responsibilities will include:
-work with agencies/vendors who design and develop websites to understand the existing platform and work within the platform requirement
-build new websites using existing templates, implement custom designs and controls and maintain existing websites in Sitecore
-support day-to-day content updates and maintenance to existing websites and/or interactive programs
-work with internal marketing teams to solve issues, add features and determine possible technical solutions and/or provide technical guidance
-work with country affiliates in the EU region to facilitate website rollout and provide technical support
-interface with IT to maintain and upgrade technical environment needs
-research, evaluate and implement new interactive (cross platform) technologies and tools as needed

Qualifications:
-BA-level in a technology related field (e.g. ICT)
-5 years hands-on experience in web development front end and back end
-Sitecore knowledge and experience is a must
-Experience in writing custom user controls
-Familiarity with Brightcove, Photoshop, Illustrator is considered an asset
-Excellent communication skills in English
-Customer focused
